Why is the Department of Justice searching for information on Margie Teall? And why does their inquiry bring them to my blog?

    Dale,

    I think I can explain the U.S. Department of Justice interest in Margie Teall.

    During the Ann Arbor City Council deliberations on the liquor license award, Councilmember Teall pointed out that the process had been unfair to golfers because they weren’t playing right now (it’s winter) and didn’t see each other enough to get themselves organized to come out and support the awarding of the license to Leslie Golf Course.

    Further, they had moved their league play to courses other than Leslie Park and so hadn’t heard about the possibility that Leslie Park might be able to serve beer and wine.

    That’s so unfair. So very very very unfair.

    In fact, that’s a miscarriage of _justice_ if I ever heard of one.
