Some of the NYT&#039;s recent photos, like the one on the aged inmate, seem rather outside the traditional bounds of photojournalistic practice, as you note, but I don&#039;t read it enough to know if this is a trend or a handful of exceptions.

I say almost because some of the travel photos from his site look like they come from a Holga (though that can be faked).
