Can anybody tell me what happened here and why my model has gone crazy? I was progressing along with some stumbles along the way and this morning a window pops up. “Your model has a problem” or something like that. I chose “Fix my problem” and continued on, thinking, whew! That was close.

Until a few minutes ago when it looks like my nice, solid building facade has become a mess of shards of color from one corner to the other. I’ve erased the wall lines of the building and you can see the slivers of wall or “face” still remain. Anybody know what gives?

From your description, I’d suggest you disable the “fall leaves” plug-in….

I figured out Sketchup implemented some kind of “hidden geometry” to make things work (badly). I toggled it on in a menu and erased it all then started again from there.
