Welcome to Mapping Congress, the startup site for a collaborative digital history project between faculty and staff at Virginia Tech and UCLA. Mapping Congress will make available searchable, metadata-enriched GIS shapefiles of all Congresses in U.S. history, as well as an interactive data visualization of elections results, roll call votes, and district demographics.
